Is speaking in tongues for real? Is is fake? Hear this testimony.
My sister Betty Bordner started having a prayer language a few years ago, and I have to admit it sounds fake as ever. Many of us though she was just babbling away on her own. One day when she was at a Transformations Conference at our church (OCC.org), she just happened to sit next to a man who spoke a rare Inuktitut (Inuit/Eskimo Language) of the North. And she was babbling away in her language until this man stopped her. He was very surprised that anyone down here would speak that language. He told Betty that she just spoke a beautiful prayer to the Lord, and he explained to her what she said. Well this stopped all doubt, and it showed us that in looking with our eyes of flesh, the things of God can look very strange.
